The Conservation Commission has secured a grant to study the effects of sea level rise on three particularly vulnerable road crossings: Post Office Rd. at Squam Creek, West Shore Rd. at Heal Pond, and West Shore Rd. at Squam Creek. The study is being conducted by Wright Pierce and Kennebec Estuary Land Trust and will be used to apply for additional grants to address the issues and potential solutions identified in the study. Community members are welcomed to give their feedback on potential changes to these causeways in this Stakeholder Survey.
